Kylie Daniel is the 2023 and 2024 The Block Artist and Crasto is proud to exclusively house Kylies work.
An abstract artist based on the Gold Coast, Kylie’s work captures the Australian landscape with an innovative approach where she creates her work to be felt. A sensory experience. An important element of Kylie’s work is not only to highlight the beauty of the Australian landscape but to feel it.
Kylie’s art has been displayed in several Art Lovers Exhibitions, Gold Coast and Melbourne Galleries, and appeared in Grand Designs Australia Magazine 2022, as well as featured in ArtEdit Magazine 2022.
In 2023 Kylie made her ‘The Block Artist’ debut where one of her stunning artworks was selected by Steph and Gian for their master bedroom reveal. This room went on to win ‘Room of The Week’ with the public commenting it could very well be the best master bedroom in The Block history. Steph and Gian went on to win ‘Best House’ and as well, become the overall winners of The Block 2023. With the enormous win well over the reserve, Steph and Gian were also named the biggest winners of all time, across all 19 seasons.
On the 11th of October 2024 Kylie’s first solo art exhibition will be held at the Crasto Gallery. Curated by our team, this exhibition will be the first look into Kylie’s most recent work and an exclusive opportunity to meet the artist whose innovative work is paving a way for local artists.
